Tom McLean's Little Mo Adventure

Tom McLean's Little Mo Adventure

Little Mo International 2017

This December, Alberta Tennis Centre athletes competed at the Little Mo International tournament in Florida.  The team consisted of five players from our High Performance program along with Tom McLean.

The team arrived early to participate in a three day Tennis Canada camp where they got to practice with other Canadians on the clay courts and under the hot Floridian sun. Roughly forty players from across Canada participated in the camp that was lead by Tennis Canada’s Head of U10 Development, Severine Tamborero. The players worked on clay court specific tactics while adjusting to the altitude, climate and court surface.

All five of our athletes gave it their all during the five day tournament. Each player got to compete in singles, doubles and mixed doubles where they played against and partnered with other players from around the world. It was a fantastic experience for our team and we look forward to going south in December 2018 for this event.
